CR felt this further undermined the &#8220;universe as white hole&#8221; approach, comparing it to nested russian dolls.  I suggested it was more like <a title=\"boy's surface - wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Boy's_surface\">Boy&#8217;s surface<\/a>, which got us nowhere anyway but revealed a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ics.uci.edu\/~eppstein\/junkyard\/all.html\">universe<\/a> &#8230;of &#8230; <a href=\"http:\/\/vmm.math.uci.edu\/3D-XplorMath\/Surface\/gallery.html\">interesting<\/a> &#8230; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xahlee.org\">hyperlinks<\/a>.
